Serving Those Who Serve The Homeless
Coalition Staff Attend National Conference on Ending Homelessness

Gary Grier (Project Manager), Eva Thibaudeau (Director of Programs), Ana Rausch (Coordinated Access Project Manager)
The National Alliance on Ending Homelessness held its annual National Conference on Ending Homelessness July 29 - 31, in Washington D.C., and Coalition staff Eva Thibaudeau, Gary Grier, and Ana Rausch were in attendance, along with several other Houston area service providers.

The keynote speaker of the 2014 conference was First Lady Michelle Obama, whose address centered around veteran homelessness. Our staff member Ana Rausch got to shake hands with the First Lady - one of the highlights of her trip!

Another major focus of the conference was Capitol Hill Day 2014, which is held in conjunction with the conference and gives participants a chance to meet with their Members of Congress and to take part in federal advocacy. The Coalition's Gary Grier served as Capital Hill Co-Captain for the Houston area conference attendees.
