At The Dime Bank you can enjoy the convenience of online banking anytime and from anywhere 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with our Mobile Dime Apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Using your mobile device you can check your account balances, view transaction history, transfer funds, pay your bills, receive text and e-mail alerts, activate, deactivate, or suspend your Dime Bank debit card, and see your check images and statements. Recently, another great feature was added to this convenient service. The Dime Bank Apps now support the Touch ID feature for login. All you have to do to utilize this new feature is:

- Have an iOS device which supports biometrics. Versions equal to or greater than the following: iPhone 5S, iPad Air 2, and iPad Mini 3
- Enable Touch ID on the mobile device
- Download the latest version of The Dime Bank Mobile App
Upon your login you will receive an initial Touch ID prompt with a choice to enable the feature. If you choose 'Not Now' during the initial prompt, you can activate the Touch ID feature from the Preference Menu at any time. We do not recommend using Touch ID if you share your device.

All you need to start mobile banking today is an active Dime On Line account. Not enrolled in Dime On Line yet? No problem! Follow this link to enroll today. Consumer Tip: Know Your Financial Vocabulary
While the financial world is full of acronyms and other terms that can be confusing, it's important to be well versed. Below is a list of common financial terms that you've most likely heard but may not understand their meaning.
401(k) Plan - A qualified retirement plan through an employer in which eligible employees can make salary deferral contributions on a post- or pre-tax basis.
Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM) - A type of mortgage with an interest rate that periodically changes. There may be an initial "teaser" rate, which will go up after a specified period. After the initial term, the rate will adjust (usually annually) with an index.
Amortization - A schedule of paying off debt, including the principal and interest, in regular payments over a period of time.

Employees' Fundraising Efforts
|
For our Christmas in July efforts, each branch picked someone they know serving overseas or a member of anysoldier.com. We then collected much needed items for them, wanting to make their jobs away from home a little easier. Everyday items that we might take for granted during our everyday life here at home are very much appreciated by those who are serving to protect our country overseas. We hope our packages will find soldiers in good health and brighten their spirits.

The Dime Bank employees also held a jean day to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of their founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family's ability to pay. We raised $484 for this great cause.

2016 Scholarship Recipients

The Dime Bank has awarded scholarships to four students from Wayne Highlands, Wallenpaupack Area, Delaware Valley, and Carbondale Area school districts based on their academic and leadership capabilities. To be eligible for The Dime Bank Directors Award the students must be furthering their education in the field of business, economics, finance, management, or accounting. Each graduating senior was presented with a check for $1,000.00 to attend the college of their choice. The Dime Bank is proud to support future leaders with this educational assistance.

Dimeco, Inc. (OTC Pink: DIMC), parent company of The Dime Bank, reported net income of $3.0 million for the first six months of 2016, an increase of 28.5% over the same period 2015. This resulted in a return on average assets of .97% and a return on average shareholders' equity of 8.73%, with both ratios resulting in an increase of 24.0% over those reported for the second quarter of 2015. President and Chief Executive Officer Gary C. Beilman stated, "I am happy to note that the positive momentum that began in the first quarter of this year continued into this quarter. Largely our income growth is due to the aggressive and prudent steps that began in the fourth quarter of last year and continue as we make progress to improve asset quality."
