"Thank you to everyone at The Dime Bank, I could not be any happier with the services I have received over the past 10 years of banking with The Dime. Although I have very limited income and cannot take advantage of the services you offer for investment and long term wealth management, I will always bank at The Dime and consider any and all of the services offered to improve the management of my accounts. The wonderful people at The Dime Bank recently approved a small loan for me which was a great help to my family and myself, I am forever grateful to not only those involved with the loan but to everyone at The Dime Bank, truly very professional and friendly people."

Employees' Fundraising Efforts

In the month of September, The Dime Bank employees gathered together to collect funds for two very worthy causes: local rescue organizations and Dessin Animal Shelter. Employees gave monetary donations and held bake sales in return for a jean day. As a team we raised a little over $665.00 for various local rescue organizations, and we raised $775.00 for Dessin Animal Shelter. Great job everyone!

Update: We received a couple of thank you notes from the recipients of the care packages to our troops who are currently stationed overseas. We would like to share the notes with you:

This thank you note was received via e-mail from SPC Angela Westbrooks of the U. S. Army, who is stationed in Afghanistan with her unit from Brooklyn, NY. SPC Wesbrooks' unit was the recipient of The Dime Bank Hawley office care package.

Good Afternoon from Afghanistan! I received two boxes from you guys and I just wanted to share with you all my appreciation. I didn't get a chance to take pictures because my battles buddies and I were just excited

to have mail, lol, but I can guarantee everything arrived safe and sound. I was able to share with some of my battle buddies. I'm super thankful for that because not everyone gets care packages out here. It
is definitely hard being away from home but we keep our heads high and stay strong knowing out families support us. You guys are truly amazing for supporting us. Thank you.

To The Dime Bank and Community!

Thank you so much for the care package and gift card! I can't tell you how much something like that can brighten a soldier's day. I remain thankful and humbled by all of the support I have received and continue to receive over the years. As I write this, it is the 13th Anniversary of 9/11. I remember that morning, I was outside of Fort Hood, TX waiting with part of my unit to deploy to Korea for a year. Some of my fellow soldiers and I went to a local IHOP to ponder the morning events and to guess what that meant to us. When the meal was over, the waitress told us our meal was already paid for. The lady who paid for our meal gave us all hugs and said she was afraid for what we might have to do in the coming months. Little did we know then how right she was, but continued support from the American public remains strong. Thank you all for taking the time, effort, and money to support soldiers you have never met before but embrace us as one of your own.

Thanks so much!

Dave Burbank

We were very touched by the responses and we are very proud to be able to support our brave men and women stationed away from their homes and families.
