LSAT Prep Course  


Is it time to take the plunge into Law School? NKU Community Connections can help you make a great start!  This intensive, preparation course will introduce you to the four components of the LSAT - Logical Reasoning, Logic Games (Analytic Reasoning), Reading Comprehension and the Writing Sample - and teach you strategies and skills for tackling different types of questions.  You will identify your strengths and weaknesses, practice answering actual LSAT questions and develop an individualized plan of study. The daily schedule follows:
 
Day 1 - Overview of the LSAT; Assessing Your Skills; Logical Reasoning (Pt. 1)
Day 2 - Logical Reasoning (Pt. 2); 
Day 3 - Logic Games
Day 4 - Reading Comprehension; Writing Sample; Practice Drills; Test Taking Tips


Saturday, September 10 through October 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 








Learning to Sign:  
American Sign Language Level 1
Class held six consecutive Tuesdays  
September 13 - October 18


If you communicate regularly with people who are severely hard-of-hearing or deaf, or if you have an interest in learning sign language, this class is for you. Emphasis is placed on signs, finger spelling, syntax, 
grammar and receptive skills in this six-week non-credit course.



In addition to the $129 course fee to register, $10 for required course materials is payable to the instructor at the first session.



Register for both Levels 1 & 2 at the same time and Level 2 is just $99.

Level 2 is scheduled for Tuesdays, November 11-December 6, 2016.




This review of each section of the ACT can help you build confidence and increase your scores. Complete sample tests, learn test-taking tips and review subject matter to help you perform more quickly and comfortably on test day.

Debunking Myths About Dietary Supplements & Beyond Prescription Medications: Natural Healing, Health and Hope for the Future.


Attendees will learn how to choose a high quality dietary supplement with an emphasis on safety; review common product categories for immune/antioxidant/anti-inflammatory health, osteoporosis & bone health, osteoarthritis & joint health, heart health, weight loss, memory health, and more. Attendees will also learn about evidence-based ways to improve sleep, to manage stress, to stay balanced without prescription medications, and to use dietary supplements sparingly for general health.  Dr. Rosenbaum will teach how to integrate body mind and spiritual practices into your personal health regimen.
