Students Taking Test
ACT Preparation: Intensive
June 7-8, 9 a.m.-Noon

In this intensive ACT Prep course you will learn test-taking strategies, complete sample test questions and review subject matter to help you perform more quickly and comfortably on test day. The two-day session is provided by content specialists to help you improve your chances of achieving your goal score.  The one day will focus on math review; the other day is devoted to English and reading review.

Want to make your own wood fired pizza or smell the aroma of fresh baked bread in your backyard but don't want to pay thousands of dollars? Look no further! Come out to the country at Cobber's Grove to learn how to build your own cob oven. You will learn how to build the foundation, mix cob, find the right clay content, make clay plaster, sculpt with cob, and make the oven itself. After the workshop you will be able to start building your own oven and will be eating homemade pizza from the oven within no time. This workshop is in Corinth, Ky and is for individuals 15 and older.

Registration is open for the Journalism in the Digital Age Summer Workshop!
 
High schools students have the chance to explore Northern Kentucky University with cameras, microphones and keyboards this summer during the eighth Journalism in the Digital Age Workshop, sponsored by NKU's College of Informatics.

Students will produce multimedia stories for the web under the guidance of NKU's electronic media and journalism faculty, media professionals and NKU student mentors.

The workshop will be 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 20-24, 2016 in Griffin Hall, the College of Informatics' state-of-the-art media and technology facility.

A closing program, beginning at 1 p.m. June 24 in Griffin Hall Digitorium, will feature the work of the high school participants and NKU student mentors. The $100 cost includes lunch on campus all week.
