Host a Farm House Dinner on July 27
Get some friends together to eat local! Our goal is 50 local food dinners on one night. Here's how it works: Farm members and friends host a dinner party for their own friends and neighbors, featuring local foods. The menu and style (BBQ picnic, six course dinner, potluck, whatever!) is up to the host, but we ask that you feature local, seasonal food - and we will help out with some extra farm produce plus local chicken sausage from Griggstown.
Each person who attends a dinner is asked to make a contribution of $15 to $50 to support the farm - whatever they would spend for dinner out at a restaurant. For instance, if you invite 10 people who each give $20, and you'll help to raise $200 for the farm!
Our goal is to have the parties on the same night, because we'll send around our guests of honor - the Pennypack farmers! You never know who might show up! (But don't worry... if you are busy on July 27, you can still participate. Just commit to having a local foods dinner another night!)
Each party will receive a host kit, including an extra portion of farm produce, some Griggstown sausages, information about the farm, donation envelopes, recipes and more!
To offer to host a dinner at your house, please download this form, and email it to FarmHouseDinner@gmail.com. All donations will go to the Arcadia Match Campaign!
