Just Released -- Carlson BRx5 Survey GNSS Receiver
Affordable and accurate -- the Carlson BRx5 GNSS Receiver is exactly what surveyors and GIS professionals need in the field.
Why the BRx5? Carlson's Exclusive LDL (live digital level) is the answer. With Carlson SurvCE 4.0, the BRx5's internal level sensors display a live digital level bubble in the store points and stake points screen. Level tolerance can be set by the user to ensure the highest positional accuracy.
Each BRx5 contains a multi-constellation, multi-band 270-channel GNSS receiver, internal GSM cell modem, UHF radio, dual hot-swappable batteries and internal level sensors.
The BRx5 receivers can each be configured as Base, Rover, or Network Rover. They come with dual Bluetooth ports, allowing users to connect both data collector and a cell phone, and they each come with a fully integrated multi-constellation dual frequency GNSS receiver with UHF radio and GSM cell modem.

Carlson Survey 2015 OEM just released

Just released, Carlson Survey 2015 OEM newest update provides upgrades to the 3D viewer that allows users to apply textures, animation, surface updates, even record movies and import Sketch-Up objects.
The software's popular field-to-finish feature has also been enhanced for 2015 to allow surveyors to do coding on pipe networks that then allows them to build a network of pipes.

In India: Carlson Mining Training
Carlson Mining is currently conducting training sessions at the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), a Government coal mining company jointly owned by the Government of Telangana and Government of India. They are working to incorporate Carlson Mining into their mine planning offices. SCCL is currently operating 15 opencast and 34 underground mines in 4 districts of Telangana with a manpower around 62,805.
