ICT Art Day of Giving
is happening right now!

Arts Council Transparent
Today is the first-ever ICT Art Day of Giving (aka ArtDOG). This is an unprecedented effort to raise awareness and money for the arts in Wichita, Kansas over a single 24-hour period. The Arts Council is one of 38 participating local nonprofit arts organizations and we ask for your support.

Donate now to The Arts Council

The Arts Council is an advocate for the arts in the Wichita community, including all 38 organizations involved in ArtDOG. Please consider making a donation to the arts on ArtDOG from now until 11:59 p.m. tonight.

Organizations will be eligible for matching dollars based on what they raise. Donations are tax deductible, and each donor will receive a charitable contribution receipt by e-mail.

Since 1999, The Arts Council has worked in partnership with the City of Wichita to achieve its mission of advancing and promoting arts and culture in the Wichita community through advocacy, leadership, education and collaboration. The Arts Council's slogan "We Make Art Happen" reinforces the group's commitment to the business side of the arts and spreading the word that arts and culture is a $66.2 million industry in Wichita that creates 2,006 jobs and generates $6.5 million in local/state government revenue.

Activity will be everywhere in Wichita today to draw attention to ArtDOG and make it the largest Final Friday to date. You can find a schedule of events here. The Arts Council is hosting a  Big Tent Celebration from 1:30-9 p.m. in Old Town Square and inside CityArts.

ArtDOG is a project of The Arts Council, Wichita Community Foundation, the Knight Foundation and Razoo.

ArtDOG is already a hit on YouTube. Watch the videos below to find out why:
