The pins are not required for entry nor do they serve as an admission ticket. Rather they are a way for people to show their support for this long-standing event that honors and celebrates Wichita's status as the Air Capital of the World. The artwork was created by Wichitan Lacy N. Young, the winner of this year's Wichita Flight Festival Poster Contest.
