Wichita Flight Festival To Include Tribute To Pearl Harbor

Are you interested in volunteering at this year's Wichita
Flight Festival? We have volunteer positions available all weekend long. As our thank you to them, volunteers
receive a T-shirt and free admission to the Saturday Night Twilight Air Show & Concert. Click here to find out more.
The TORA TORA TORA air team is the headliner of this year's Wichita Flight Festival Sept. 28-29 at Jabara Airport. This is the first time this team of Commemorative Air Force pilots and crew has visited Wichita, and they plan to give festival visitors an unforgettable living history lesson as they re-create the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. The breath-taking performance is intended to be a tribute and memorial to soldiers on both sides who gave their lives for their countries.

TORA TORA TORA will join eight other air acts from around the country for performances during the day on Saturday and Sunday. The TORA team will also be featured during the Saturday Night Twilight Air Show & Concert, along with Hotel California - The Original Eagles Tribute Band. As good as TORA TORA TORA is during the day, nothing compares to the maneuvers, smoke and pyrotechnics at night!

All daytime activities, which also include static airplane displays, a Kid's Zone, food concourse and Fly Market, are free and open to the public from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tickets for the Saturday Night Twilight Air Show & Concert are $10 and can be purchased in advance at Wichita.TIX.com or at the gate. Gates re-open at 6 p.m. on Saturday night.

Another big announcement is coming from Wichita Flight Festival organizers next week. Be sure to connect with the Wichita Flight Festival on Facebook and Twitter to be the first to get the details.

The Wichita Flight Festival wouldn't be possible without the support of generous sponsors whose logos are included at the end of this newsletter. If you have the opportunity, please let them know you appreciate their participation.
