Public Invited to Submit Nominees for 2013 Art Awards; Deadline June 7
The arts and cultural events in our community are giving vibrancy and enhancing our quality of life thanks to many artists who choose to live and work here and to businesses and individuals who support them.
Each year the Arts Council honors those who make this happen and is asking the public to submit the names of individuals, businesses and arts organizations to be recognized for their work in furthering the growth and development of the arts. The awards will be presented at a dinner in the fall.
Nominations are being accepted in the categories listed below; official entry forms and further information can be found online at
www.wichitaarts.com.
Nominations should be dropped off or mailed to CityArts, 334 N. Mead, Wichita KS 67202 no later than 5:00 p.m. June 7, 2013.
The awards focus attention on the importance of the arts in our community. A selection committee reviews each entry and award recipients will be announced in late summer.
