BREAKING
National BDPA Market teams will shortly announce to its members that General Motors, General Electric, and Cisco Systems will have new corporate sponsor levels for this year's conference in Washington! More details forthcoming, however global diversity and inclusion chiefs are looking forward to working with BDPA in a variety of areas to include, but not necessarily limited to, corporate memberships, conference registrations, national and local awards galas, youth technology camps, and National BDPA's Job Board. Oracle, Eli Lily and Company, and the United States Navy have scholarships for qualified BDPA Student members (see BDPA.org.) High School Computer Competition (HSCC), IT Showcase participants, and alumni are highly encouraged to apply before this July's deadlines.
Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Virtual Desktop Infrastructures, IPv6, and Mobile Computing thrusts are trending very rapidly with our new sponsors. Moreover, individuals we know, small businesses, and affiliated STEM organizations, may no longer thrive when confronted with these disruptive technologies which could adversely affect today's business models and our current way of life. Just how soon will these innovations, Big Data, and Predictive Analytics really become an integral part of society's next BDPA chapter?
To that end, this year's 35th Annual National BDPA Technology Conference and Career Expo in Washington, D.C. , from August 13-17, 2013, will appeal most to BDPA Members who have at least a general interest in new and disruptive technologies, exciting new career opportunities, workforce development, and their region's local economy. It would be helpful to join or start a local BDPA Chapter, renew corporate memberships, and follow Industry trade publications with National BDPA's social media channels. If interested and available, pre-registration with Member Discounts to this year's Conference is now open.
