The Call by Yannick Murphy

In this uniquely written novel, the daily rhythm of a veterinarian's family in rural New England is shaken when a hunting accident leaves their eldest son in a coma. With the lives of his loved ones unhinged, the veterinarian struggles to maintain stability while searching for the man responsible. But in the midst of their great trial an unexpected visitor arrives, requesting a favor that will have profound consequences --- testing a loving father's patience, humor, and resolve and forcing husband and wife to come to terms with what "family" truly means.

We maintain two

We have a main page and a page specifically for our children's department (because we know that not everyone has kids to bring to our awesome programs)

We use Facebook to pass along info we think you'd be interested in and sometimes to get out community information quickly, but we promise not to blow up your newsfeed!

The Learning Zone @ the Exeter Public Library

Did you know we have a large section of books and games that are designed to supplement your school-age child's education?

We received a grant a few years ago to create the "Learning Zone" at the library. There are quite a few homeschooling resources, but there are also books for kids who are interested in history, art, geography and lots of other subjects. We even have videos about countries and science.

Our games are all learning-based but also a lot of fun. We have games based on math, mythology, history, logic and more!
