The Call by Yannick Murphy

In this uniquely written novel, the daily rhythm of a veterinarian's family in rural New England is shaken when a hunting accident leaves their eldest son in a coma. With the lives of his loved ones unhinged, the veterinarian struggles to maintain stability while searching for the man responsible. But in the midst of their great trial an unexpected visitor arrives, requesting a favor that will have profound consequences --- testing a loving father's patience, humor, and resolve and forcing husband and wife to come to terms with what "family" truly means.

E-Readers and other devices!

Want to borrow library books on the new reader you got for Christmas?

Visit Ocean State Libraries' E-Zone. Click on the Question Mark "?" labeled "Help" in the top row of option to get step-by-step instructions for setting up your device.

You can also bring your device in and we can sit down with you to help figure it out. Please call ahead to make sure someone will be available to help you!
Unscheduled Closings

Please be sure to call ahead before heading to the library in inclement weather. We don't want you driving on icy or snowy roads just to get your books back - and we know you don't want our staff driving on them either!

As soon as we make a decision to close early we will post on our Facebook page and website. We also use the RI Broadcasters network to announce if we will not be openings at all.
