Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our (snowy) January has finally arrived!  Please send your students to school wearing warm winter clothes.  Hot lunch has started again this week, and students were thrilled!  Join us for our Winter Fest (grades pre-K through 3) on Friday in Morrissey Hall; don't forget to bring a food item to help our food pantry.

As we've mentioned, this year is the Year of Mercy.  St. Cletus Church is a sponsoring Church and will have their Holy Doors opened this year.  Students will be discussing in class the importance of these doors.  All who pass through these Doors of Mercy will feel God's love.  We invite you to visit our Holy Doors and become closer with God.  To read more, please visit Catholic New World.
In Peace,

Lauren Lewandowski

Celebrate
National Catholic Schools Week
January 31 through February 5, 2016

Every January, Catholic schools throughout the
United States unite in a celebration of Catholic education.  This year's theme is "Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service."

St. Cletus opens this exciting week on Sunday,
January 31, with 9:30 a.m. Mass (in Church), followed by our annual Open House from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  Prospective school families, parishioners, and anyone interested in Catholic education are welcome to visit our school during those hours.  Current school families enjoy viewing student projects displayed in the building and getting to know our faculty and staff.  And our very own Student Council and National Junior Honor Society take prospective families on special tours of the school.

Throughout the week, students will participate in various activities.  More info. to follow.

Catholic Schools Week comes to a close on Friday, February 5, with our Red & White game, an all-day school-wide volleyball game played by first through eighth graders, homerooms against homerooms.

We do hope to see you and your friends and family at our Catholic Schools Week Mass and Open House on the 31st!
