Dear Parents,

Students and parents attended an Internet safety presentation and came away with lots of new information.  Students learned when interacting with people on the internet, they need to THINK!

Is the conversation...
     T-True
     H- Helpful or hurtful
     I- Inspiring
     N-Necessary
     K-Kind

They also learned that they should not talk to a person they don't know and were encouraged to report anyone who sends them adult pictures or videos, talks to them about adult things, or asks to meet in person.  Students received information about the Cyber Tip Line (cybertipline.com and 1-800-THE-LOST).

We had a great turnout at the parent presentation.  The resources came home in your student's family envelope last Wednesday, and we have posted them on the parent page of our website.  Thank you to everyone who came!

On Friday we had quite a turnout wearing Red and White to support St. Cletus Homecoming 2015.  The Pep Rally was a success, and I know students had a great time.  Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making our Homecoming 2015 a success!

Students will be bringing home pizza board circles today.  Please write your last name, student grade(s), and first name(s) on the pizza circle.  More details were in the blast and letter sent home today.  This will help in making dismissal efficient and safe.

Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Lauren Lewandowski
Principal

Eagle Scout Project by St. Cletus Graduate
"Tyler's Legacy" is an Eagle Scout project developed by 2015 St. Cletus graduate, Michael Fanta.  "I am collecting items of comfort for children fighting cancer, ages 12 to 17, who are the most overlooked when donations come in.  I am collecting NEW ball caps, hats, scarves, and earbuds.  The greatest need is for low denomination gift cards to iTunes, Xbox, PlayStation, and Google Play.
"My best friend, Tyler, died after an epic battle with cancer, and the charity I am collecting the items for often brought things to Tyler.  Tyler had very long hospital stays due to the strong cancer treatments, and he really appreciated what he received to alleviate the boredom of being quarantined in his hospital room.
"All donations go to the Treasure Chest Foundation.  For more information, go to my website at Tyler's Legacy.  Thank you."
Donations may be dropped off at the St. Cletus school office.
