NOTES/REMINDERS

Drop-off and Pickup Safety

The church parking area is a big safety concern.  With more people attending 8:00 a.m. Mass during Lent, there are fewer parking spaces.  Also, parents are parking in the handicapped spaces as they walk their children in to school.

There is absolutely no dropping off or picking up of students in the front of church east of the cones and no parking in the handicapped spaces.  You must use our drop-off procedure line for arrival and dismissal, even if students are attending 8:00 a.m. Mass.  This system has worked well for many years and is a safe alternative to parking.  We have plenty of help outside to guide the children from the cars to the school building.  If you absolutely must park, please escort your children out of the car and hold their hands in the parking lot.  Use extreme caution pulling in and out of the parking lot and walking through the parking lot.

When using the drop off line in the front and on 54th Street, please pull all the way up before allowing your children to enter/exit the car.  Please be mindful of cars in front of you and behind you.  Never pull around a car.  Kindly wait, and move forward as the line moves.

Arrival and dismissal lasts 10 minutes or less.  Please allow enough time in your schedule at the beginning and end of the day for a safe arrival and dismissal, and watch your speed. This is a school zone!

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.

Aftercare Notifications

Please contact the school office NO LATER THAN 2:00 p.m. for aftercare notifications.  The office needs plenty of time to get your messages to your child(ren)'s teachers.
