Spring Auction Wine Cellar Raffle

       Aloha!  We need your help in building the St. Cletus Community Wine Cellar for the Instant Wine Cellar Raffle.  We will be selling corks for $50.00 per cork.  The winner, to be chosen during the Lei'd Back Luau Spring Auction on March 7, will receive 50 bottles of fine wine valued at over $1,200!

       In order to make the Raffle a success, we need your help.  We are requesting donations of bottles of wine (red or white) with a price tag of $25.00 and up.  Wine donations may be dropped off at the Carons' home at 5645 S. Madison Avenue in Countryside or in the St. Cletus school office.

       Don't have time to shop?  No problem.  We are also accepting monetary donations and will purchase the wine on your behalf.  Please send donations to the school office in an envelope marked "Wine Raffle Donation."  Include your name, mailing address, and phone number with your donation.

St. Cletus School Presents "Aladdin"

       Don't miss out on St. Cletus School's production of Disney's "Aladdin"!

Performances are Wednesday, March 18, at 4:00 p.m.; Thursday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m.; and Friday, March 20, at 7:00 p.m.  Doors open one-half hour prior to the show. Saving seats is not allowed, and ticket holders must be present to secure their seats.

       Tickets are $6.00 each and may be purchased by clicking HERE.  Send your order form with payment in an envelope labeled "Aladdin Play Tickets" to the school office.  Checks should be made payable to "St. Cletus School." You will receive a confirmation e-mail, and your family name will be on a check-in list at the door on the day you attend.

Graduation Photo Retake Day is Tuesday, February 24

       If you have not turned in your graduation photo proofs, please do so immediately.  If you would like a photo retake, please send the photo proofs to the office and include a $10.00 payment for the retake.  (Checks should be payable to "Van Gogh School Photographers.")  Note: your retake payment must be submitted in advance of retake day.

       Parents of retake students or students who were absent on Graduation Photo Day: please e-mail Mary Lee Krieger and request that the student's name be added to the retake list.  On Retake Day, be sure to follow dress code guidelines as indicated in the handbook.  If the student has gym class, send his/her gym uniform to change into after the photo session.  Otherwise, the student may bring a school uniform or remain in dress-up attire for the day.

Girl Scouts Need Your Help

       The 6th grade St. Cletus Girl Scouts are partnering up with the Notre Dame Football team for a children's collection drive.  The ND Football team is traveling to Haiti for spring break and needs items for school children there.  Items being collected are: new or gently used child-size polo shirts; school supplies such as pencils, pens, paper, and notebooks; and sports balls (volleyballs, basketballs and soccer balls). 

       Students should bring donated items to their classrooms.  The collection drive  ends on Friday, February 20.  The classroom with the most participation will win ice cream sundaes for all!

NOTES/REMINDERS

2014 Tax Information for Tuition Paid

       2014 tuition paid (for tax filing) can now be easily accessed through your FACTS Management account, effective immediately.  This year there will be no tax letters going home to school families.  You may access your tuition paid record through FACTS Management as follows:

  1. Visit your FACTS account and click on your "Payment Plan" for the 2014-2015 School Year;
  2. Under "Activity Details," click on the "Payments" tab;
  3. On the right side of the screen, click on "View Printable Payment Summary";
  4. Select the year you want to show for tuition paid;
  5. On the right side of the screen, click on the "Print" link to print your summary.

       This tax report shows all tuition paid in 2014 for the 2013-14, 2014-15, and 2015-16 school years.  If you have any questions, please contact the school office. 

2015-16 Re-Enrollment (Current Families)

       School families received an e-mail/letter from Mrs. Hillgoth and Ms. Hayes with instructions for on-line re-enrollment and a link to the FACTS Management site for your $50.00 deposit.

       Please Note: to prevent late fees, we scheduled the re-enrollment deposit due date for May 2015.  Auto Pay families' accounts are scheduled to withdraw this payment in May, unless you schedule it sooner. So, we are asking all families, including those using Auto Pay, to schedule your deposit now.  Please visit your FACTS Incidental Expenses account and open the 2015-16 school year to make your payment. 

       St. Cletus School enrollment is now open to the general public, and class openings are available to all on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you haven't re-enrolled, please do so now.  Thank you.

       Please contact the school office NO LATER THAN 2:00 p.m. for Aftercare notifications.  The office needs plenty of time to get your messages to your child(ren)'s teachers.

All 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Students--It's Time for Track and Field

       The 2015 Track and Field season is just around the corner.  If your child is interested in joining the team and hasn't yet signed up, e-mail Liz Valdes to be added to the roster and receive future parent communications.  Pre-season indoor instructional sessions for new athletes will begin in the next few weeks, and outdoor practice will begin in mid-March (after the spring musical).  If you have any questions about the Track and Field program, contact Liz Valdes.

Box Tops for Education  

       Congratulations to our January Box Tops winner.  Mrs. McCartney's second grade class had the most Box Tops and will receive a special prize!

       Ask your friends and family to save their Box Tops.  Every Box Top donated to our school is worth ten cents. We earned over $2,000 last year.  If you have questions about the Box Tops program, or if your student would like to earn service hours counting Box Tops, e-mail Ann Foley.
