October 8, 2014

Dear Parents,

Fall is definitely in the air and I couldn't be happier!  These beautiful days might be few and far between, so enjoy them while you can.  Speaking of weather, even the bad weather couldn't dampen our homecoming spirit this past weekend.  Thanks to everyone who came out to brave the rain at both the cross country match and the football game.  A valiant effort was made by all.  The flower ceremony for the eighth graders between the two games was a hit.

I hope you were able to attend our Living Rosary.  It was beautifully done by the 7th grade.   Thanks to all the teachers, Mrs. Bolton, and Deacon Heyes.  What a tremendous job you did.

Ask your children if they can share the October prayer with you.  PS: it's the Guardian Angel Prayer.

Two important housekeeping notes: 1) If you have not sent in your handbook acknowledgement, please send it in tomorrow.  If you are not sure if you sent it already, feel free to send me an e-mail and I will check and get back to you.  2) If you park on the east side of the parking lot for dismissal and walk over to pick up your child, for the safety of the children, we ask that you not congregate on the sidewalk.  Have a wonderful week!

Sincerely,

Margaret Hayes

Principal

Hot Lunch Announcement

St. Cletus parents and staff--thank you for your continued patience with the hot lunch team as we are still finding our way at perfecting the hot lunch program. It is a big job, but we know it eases the work load of so many that we are happy to do it.  Additionally, we really want to get the program at a place that it runs like clockwork for future St. Cletus families. We are doing our best.

Please let your children know that if they are ever uncertain about their lunch order, they should talk to the Hot Lunch Parents, and we will be happy to check their order.  We would never want a child to go without, but they have to communicate with us so that we are aware and can solve the problem.  Please share this with them.

The next ordering dates will begin in early November.  Watch for more information in the weekly Scoop.

Thank You, from Your Hot Lunch Team

NOTES/REMINDERS

Milk Billing

The billing for milk charges will be posted to participating families' FACTS Incidental Expenses Accounts on Friday, October 10.  This year's milk charge is $15.00 per milk ordered for the entire school year.  Once the charge has been posted, there will be 30 days to make your payment.

FACTS Incidental Expenses accounts must be initialized by the account holder.  If you already set up Auto Pay last year, you will not need to do this again for the 2014-15 school year.  Auto Pay is an option you may choose to automatically pay all of your incidental fees, such as extended care and milk, on a day of the month that you have chosen.  If you do not wish to use Auto Pay, then you will need to schedule each payment individually by the due date.

If you have any questions about milk orders or your FACTS accounts, please contact the school office at (708) 352-4820.

Extended Care Billing

September's extended care billing has now been charged to participating families' FACTS Incidental Expenses accounts.  Please see the Milk Billing article above for details regarding your FACTS Incidental Expenses account.

Extended care participating families will be charged the annual $25.00 registration fee at the first billing that you use the program.  You will see this separate charge on your invoice.

If you have any questions about extended care or your FACTS accounts, please contact the school office at (708) 352-4820.
