December 19, 2013

Dear Parent,

"For unto us a child is born."  As my first six months here at St. Cletus comes to a close, I would like to thank you for making me feel welcome and let you know what a joy it has been getting to know all of you and your children.

As we approach the end of 2013, we can start to look forward to all the excitement a new year brings: 1st Reconciliation, Catholic Schools Week, Spring Musical, 1st Communion, and all the wonderful activities surrounding graduation.  But for now, let us enjoy the holiday and spend some quality time with our families enjoying each other.

Thank you again for all you do for St. Cletus sharing your time, treasure, and talent with us.

Sincerely,

Margaret M. Hayes

Principal

NOTES AND REMINDERS

Graduation Photo Day

On Friday, January 10, 8th graders will have their graduation photos taken and be measured for their graduation gowns.  A reminder flyer from Van Gogh Photographers is going home to 8th grade families in today's family envelope.

Watch for a detailed e-mail reminder after the holiday break.

7th and 3rd Grade Students Made Fleece Blankets for Project Linus

On Thursday, December 12, the 7th and 3rd grade students paired up to attend our school Mass together. After Mass, we broke off into four rooms to create beautiful Christmas fleece blankets to donate to Project Linus. The 7th grade assisted the 3rd grade in cutting and tying the fleece while bonding with each other. These blankets that were made with love will be given to sick children and adults in various local hospitals. We appreciate all the donations for the fleece to make the blankets.
