So you've probably noticed a difference right about now. That difference may be good or it may be bad. Sometimes my clients get to this point and they realize how much their cheating really added up and set them back. Others get this far and love the way they feel in their clothes even if the scale hasn't budged. So no matter where you are on this spectrum, this is where you decide how you're going to go about the next five weeks!

This week’s question:

“Does dieting shrink my stomach?”

You probably feel this is true because when you diet your body's metabolism adjusts so that you need fewer calories (which is why those who work out intensely complain they are always hungry). But you can't shrink the size of your stomach. The only way to physically do this is through a surgical procedure like gastric bypass or banding. Your stomach expands to accommodate the amount of food you eat.
Once the food passes through to the intestines,
the stomach goes back to its original size.

Poise offers a year-round lunch hour circuit class every Monday and Wednesday from 12 – 1pm!
Here's what you get: 30 to 60 minutes (depending on the workout intensity and time you arrive) of circuit training mixed with cardio intervals to elevate your heart rate and burn fat while building strength and toning your muscles. Here's what you do: Notify Crystal that you'll be joining us by calling or emailing (contact info below). Show up anytime between 12 and 12:15pm (this way if your boss is making you run late, no worries!), and get your sweat on! Here's what you'll pay: $12 per class, or purchase an 8-session punch card for $86 (that's a $10 savings).

and be ready for a power workout!

Skype

 

Train with me from anywhere in the world and in the comfort of your own home/gym/hotel room! Skype is free to download and simple to use, all you need is a web cam. By eliminating the need for me to travel to you, Skype training sessions are a lower cost than typical off-site sessions. You can also invite friends to join you as long as you each have your own web cam. If you don't have any gym equipment, no worries! Skype sessions can consist of custom workouts using your own body weight. All you have to do is turn on your computer and push your coffee table aside!
