First National Leadership Conference is a success

385 students, including 19 predentals, attended the first ever National Leadership Conference held Nov. 2-4 in Chicago. Students chose from more than 45 sessions on topics ranging from interviewing and selecting an associateship to health care reform and marketing for your chapter and practice. The conference was approved by AGD's PACE program so participants were able to earn up to 16 CE credits towards a fellowship or mastership award. Students also had the opportunity to network with 60+ vendors during the exhibit fair and earn prizes like the iPad 3 and NBDE reprints.

Become an ASDA national leader

ASDA staff receives ADA President's Citation

During the National Leadership Conference, Dr. Calnon, immediate past president of the American Dental Association, awarded a presidential citation to the ASDA staff. Each year the ADA President awards "presidential citations" to individuals or organizations that have made a significant/outstanding contribution during his/her tenure. The recipients are solely at the discretion of the president. Dr. Calnon's reason for recognizing ASDA is "for [staff's] unwavering commitment to the future leaders of the profession."

Membership FAQ

How do I login to ASDA's website?
To login to ASDA's website, go to www.ASDAnet.org and use your last name as your user name and ASDA number as your password.

What is my ASDA number and how do I obtain this number?

Every dental student is assigned a number by the ADA after they receive an official enrollment list from your school. This number does not change and is your ADA number throughout your career in dentistry. ASDA and ADA use this number as a unique identifier for each member. This number is included in your record in both ASDA and ADA's systems. You will receive your membership number and benefits booklet 4-6 weeks after joining ASDA. ADA will mail a membership card after January. If you misplace your number, you can contact ASDA at 800-621-8099, ext. 2795 or Membership@ASDAnet.org
