Tourism Walla Walla is in the midst of working on a research survey that will aid stakeholders in understanding their visitors and improving our future marketing efforts.  Please consider inserting the following text in your next customer email or newsletter.

Meet the New Executive Director

Ron Peck

Tourism Walla Walla welcomes Ron Peck as our new Executive Director.  Ron is a respected travel industry leader with more than 35 years of travel and tourism experience including the past decade as President and COO of the Alaska Travel Industry Association.

 

"Ron's experience directing the State of Alaska's travel marketing efforts will be a tremendous asset as we continue working to increase the number of leisure, group and business travelers to the valley," said Scott Peters, president of the Tourism Walla Walla Board of Directors

 

Ron is excited to return to Washington.  He and his wife Jane have already enjoyed Walla Walla's great wine, wonderful dining experiences, its diverse performing art's scene and the Walla Walla Sweets!  He looks forward to working with fellow industry leaders and organizations to continue to increase visitation and improve the economy in the Walla Walla Valley.

Barb is an 11 year veteran of the hospitality industry and no stranger to the wine and restaurant scene in Walla Walla. She and her partner, Tom have called Walla Walla home since 2001.  She enjoys all sorts of outdoors activities, reading, watching movies, classic television shows and hanging out with her two canine pals, Rowdy and Otis.
