CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND COLLABORATION
Representatives of the City of Port Townsend Lodging Tax Advisory Committee and the Port Townsend Main Street Promotion Committee held monthly planning meetings starting in June, 2015, to plan and collaborate on the holiday campaign.
The Holiday campaign is featured on 106.9 FM Radio and website. The radio ads will run through the first three weeks of December. The campaign was paid by City of Port Townsend Lodging Tax Funds; the campaign is also included in the City of Port Townsend Enjoy PT Enews, Enjoypt Facebook/twitter, and Instagram.
Look for holiday posters on the Coho Ferry and in their terminals. 100 posters have been distributed in Victoria. Posters are in all the Olympic Peninsula Visitor Centers.
The City of Port Townsend advertised the holiday campaign in the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association (WNPA), consisting of the smaller newspaper and website companies in rural or suburban parts of Washington, with a 2x4 ad in their statewide network with 97 communities covered (a total of 2.7 million readers). These ads ran the week of November 24th.
