Jan. 2, Art Walk, a great way to start the year! Bring friends, enjoy light refreshments, and revel in the diverse art showcased in Port Townsend's stores, restaurants and art galleries.
Jan 2-3, PT Shorts, a free, monthly program featuring dramatic readings of contemporary literature, produced by Key City Public Theatre, presented by Northwind Arts Center and sponsored by the Port Townsend Arts Commission. This month will feature Charles Johnson.

Check out some of the music, workshops and classes that are offered around town to get you out of the house on these cold winter nights.
Happy Anniversary to Cellar Door, 940 Water St., celebrating 3 years! An eclectic restaurant, bar and music venue offering food, beer, wine and cocktails. Check out their music calendar for upcoming shows and Karaoke every Wednesday. Happy 21st Anniversary to Sirens, 823 Water Street. They offer a Fiddler Jam Session every Tuesday at 7 pm, Open Mic night ever Wednesday and Karaoke every Thursday at 9 pm? Also DJ Dance party every Friday and Saturday at midnight! The Tin Brick, 232 Taylor St. hosts Open Mic with Jack Reid every Monday at 6 pm. Besides open mic, The Tin Brick is also a great place to watch Football and other sports - they are family-friendly with three big screens and delicious wood-fired pizza.
Sunday Football and Brunch? Check out Quench Waterfront Kitchen and Bar, open at 10 am on Sundays for all your football and food needs with an all day Happy Hour on Sunday! Uptown Pub & Grill, 1016 Lawrence St. hosts an Open Mic every Tuesday at 9 pm. Trivia Night every Wednesday at 7 pm. Not your Grandma's Bingo every Thursday at 9 pm. Free Music and Dancing, 9 pm-11:30 pm every Friday and Saturday. Another fun place to watch sports, they have four flat screen T.V.'s for all your sports needs as well as ping pong, pool table, steel-tipped darts and board games.
Art? Check out Port Townsend School of the Arts, bringing top quality art instruction to the Olympic Peninsula with youth and adults classes. Located in building 306 at Fort Worden.
Free art classes once a month with Through The Wall: A collaborative project of The Boiler Room and their neighbor, Northwind Arts Center, Through The Wall provides visual art instruction from local artists to folks from The Boiler Room's extended community.

And for the foodies out there, visit Lively Olive Tasting Bar, 929 Water St. and sample gourmet olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You will be amazed at the selection, with over 30 varieties. Then you can step next door and smell the spices at The Spice and Tea Exchange. Transform your food, your taste buds will thank you! And just down the street at 840 Water Street is Cafe Macadamia, offering macadamia nut products.
Pippa's Real Tea, 636 Water St., offers a Saturday High Tea that is just amazing (reservations required, 385-6060) and a Poetry Open Mic on the third Friday of the Month.
Need some wine to go along with that food? The Wine Seller has wine tastings the 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month from 5:30-7 pm and the shop open until at least 8 pm on those nights. Join The Boiler Room in Storming the Castle!
The Boiler Room would be honored by your presence at their Annual Auction on Saturday, February 27, 2016.
Festivities off to a raucous start at 5 pm with a Silent Auction, followed by Dinner and Jousting (well, really a dessert dash, which is an awful lot like jousting when you get right down to it.) Tickets available on The Boiler Room's website until February 12.
