Oct. 1, Main Street Girls' Night Out
--"Beautiful, Healthy You!"
A Day & Night of Fun and Shopping at 32 stores! Specials and sales too. Kick start your day with our Tiara Trot, a Free 1.47 mile Fun Run/Walk! Register at 213 Taylor St., 7 am! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Buy a Goodie Bag ($10) and a Raffle ticket ($5 each--prize is valued at $700!) for yourself and someone you love! Proceeds help women in need get cancer screenings and support the efforts of our Main Street Program.
 
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!
Oct. 2, The Jefferson County Historical Society First Friday Lecture will feature "The Beginning of OPEPO".
Oct. 31, Main Street Downtown Trick or Treat & Parade. Please note, Water Street will be closed from 3:15 - 5:30 pm.

Congratulations to Magpie Alley, winner of the Main Street PT Film Festival window contest! The prize included movie passes and a certificate. This vintage pop-up shop in the Hastings Building features a wonderfully nostalgic window filled with memorabilia and light-hearted touches. Stop by to check it out. Thanks to our Promo team members and Renata Friedman, representing the Port Townsend Film Festival, for their help. Kudos!

Centrum Visual Artist in Residence Darsie Beck will be exhibiting his travel sketch journals during the month of October at the NW Maritime Center Tretter Gallery. Join Darsie at the NW Maritime Center during Gallery Walk Saturday 3 October from 6-9 pm. On October 14, Beck is offering a day-long workshop for those interested in learning new skills or enhancing their travel journal experience.
