Merchants: Put your business in the limelight! The Main Street Program and the Port Townsend Film Festival invite merchants to decorate your store windows in the spirit of the festival! Fame! 2015-2016 LENT (Light at the End of the Tunnel) MICROLOAN FUND. LENT Low-Interest Microloan Funds are a tool to offset some of the financial impacts businesses endure from emergency situations, though business development proposals will be considered. The funds are made available through the Port Townsend Main Street Program. Read more about this loan program here, first loan deadline is Oct. 15, 2015.

The Port Townsend Main Street Fall HUD Loan application deadline is Friday, October 30, 2015 at 5 pm. These funds can help property owners accomplish historic preservation goals and safety improvements in their buildings and is available to commercial buildings in Port Townsend's Downtown and Uptown Commercial Historic Districts. With these funds, building owners have repaired roofs, fixed staircases, re-pointed brick facades, installed windows and improved the safety of their buildings.

Oct. 1, Main Street Girls' Night Out--"Beautiful, Healthy You!"  Run~Walk~Shop --A Day & Night of Fun and Shopping at dozens of stores!  
NEW this year, we are planning a "Tiara Trot"--a FREE short Fun Run (walk, jog or run) downtown at 7 am on Oct. 1. It's 1.47 miles--get an early start on the fun! Sponsored by Jefferson Healthcare,
Port Townsend Main Street Program and generous participating merchants. The raffle tickets will be on sale at participating merchants and the prize is valued at over $700! 

HISTORIC DISTRICT MERCHANTS Please call our office at 385-7911 if you are interested in participating in this fun retail event, or if you have items to contribute to the goodie bags which raise funds for women in need to get cancer screenings and our nonprofit PT Main Street Program. Thanks!
