Celebrating Port Townsend's extraordinary maritime traditions and history.

This year, the 19th edition of the Port Townsend Victorian Heritage Festival will honor the rich maritime history of our historic Victorian seaport. Port Townsend, "City of Dreams", was founded in 1851 and grew into one of the Pacific Northwest's great ports of call.
We invite you to join us as we celebrate our still thriving maritime culture. Come stroll among the historic structures lining Port Townsend's streets and waterfront. Take in the fresh sea air and drift off to a time when great masted ships dominated the bay and commerce from around the world drove a thriving and growing community.
Kick off Friday night with Sea Shanty Sing Along followed by a Victorian Pub Crawl
featuring saloons, "shanghai tunnels," and fine vintage cocktails through a staggering selection of Port Townsend's (in)famous watering holes.
 On Saturday you will be treated to Victorian teas, presentations of history and literature and Victorian pastimes. The day continues with the always popular Fashion Show and culminates with the Grand Victorian Ball.
On Sunday you will be able to join tours of our Victorian-era homes and buildings.
The Victorian Heritage Festival is organized by Olympic
Townsend's unique role as an exquisitely preserved historical seaport surviving and thriving as a modern city.

for a celebration of the old that is new again - bringing together scholars, enthusiasts and curiosity-seekers from across the Pacific Northwest.
