NEWS AROUND THE BLOCK!

On the trail of ghosts...The Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures" crew visited Port Townsend this week...you might have seen them shooting at various locations around town including Manresa Castle and the Jefferson Museum of Art & History. Some of the ghosts might look eerily familiar when the episode airs this fall. Stay tuned.

Northwind Arts Center will re-open its doors on Friday, February 6th at their new location - 701 Water St. with a new exhibit of local artist Suzanne Lamon and sculptor Leslie Schnick

The Port Townsend Main Street Program would like to acknowledge and thank all the participants in the 2014 Main Street Tax Incentive Program.

First Federal
Thank You
2014 Tax Incentive Participant!

First Federal is the only locally owned and managed savings bank on the North Olympic Peninsula. They opened their doors in 1923 under the name of Lincoln Savings and Loan. As time went on many things changed: their name, size, and the ever-growing list of products and services that they offer. You will find that their commitment to their communities, to their customers, and to their staff has remained strong.

Thank you for putting your state B&O tax dollars to work here in our community and simultaneously benefiting your business. We appreciate it very much. 75% of your donation is returned to you via B&O tax credits in 2015. In addition, your entire contribution may qualify as a 501(c)(3) charitable deduction on your 2014 federal income tax return.

The Elevated Ice Cream Co. began serving ice cream from a courtyard antique Victorian elevator cage in 1977, hence the name Elevated Ice Cream Co., and the motto "Lift Your Spirits!"

"We're proud of our tradition of quality and service, and we're proud of our reputation of 30+ years. As the years go by, we are witness to memories being made as parents bring even their newborns in for a taste of ice cream, and we have watched generations of children grow up here."
