24th Annual UPTOWN STREET FAIR & PARADE

Come celebrate the heart of Uptown in this annual neighborhood block party!
The Uptown Street Fair and Parade includes the Port Townsend Arts and Crafts Fair, the Jefferson County Farmers' Market, tasty food on the street, free art activities for families, and performances by local musicians. Come make a day of it --grab a bite to eat at the Farmer's Market and have a picnic on the Rec Center Lawn.
"This is the 24th annual Uptown Street Fair in Port Townsend-it's an historic neighborhood event which Port Townsend looks forward to each year", according to organizer Donna Harding of the Port Townsend Arts Guild. "A percentage of the booth fees from the Arts Guild supports local student art scholarships and this fits in well with the artistic spirit of the day."
ALSO ON SATURDAY--DOWNTOWN AT MEMORIAL FIELD The 25th Annual Kiwanis Classic Car Show --scroll down for the details. Public admission $5; children 5-12, $1.50. Proceeds benefit youth scholarships and community service programs.

2pm - 3pm, Rose Street Ramblers
3pm - 4:30pm, Side of Blues
4:30pm - 5pm, Tuba/Accordian with Chuck Easton and George Radebaugh
5pm, Tear Down and Clean Up
