ease in writing? |
"Ease in writing" comes from a poem by Alexander Pope, the British poet:
True ease in writing comes from art, not chance, As those move easiest who have learn'd to dance. Note he (and I) didn't say "easy writing." But just as dance lessons can help get you around the floor more gracefully, the goal for this newsletter is to share a tip or two to improve your writing. Recipient of a 2011 Constant Contact All Star Award.

Ease in Writing: The Book
In Ease in Writing, I cover one subject a month, often based on my own or a colleague's question.
To start the year off, I have compiled many of these articles into a complimentary e-book.
Please feel free to scan it and share it with your colleagues.
To do so, you can--
- Download it here into your browser
- View it on Issuu. (If you are not familiar with Issuu, it allows you to create a very lovely on-screen publication from a PDF or other file.)
Note: In some browsers, such as Safari, you may need to save the file as a PDF on your own computer in order to access the "linked" contents within the document. You can also, of course, print out a hard copy.
Many thanks to the colleagues whom I have interviewed on various topics. Many of these articles are reprinted here, slightly edited, and I have included their names and the area of expertise they shared with me at the end of the book. Links to their websites or emails are in the articles themselves.
As always, I enjoy writing this newsletter to cover topics of interest to you. Let me know your suggestions, and I will try my best to provide a useful response through this newsletter. And I am already compiling articles for the next edition of the book!
