Saturdays in September
creative writing workshops
for kids
On the last three Saturdays in September the Missoula Writing Collaborative will host FREE writing workshops for kids ages 8-14 focusing on how place inspires and shapes our creative work through poetry, prose, and visual art.
Classes will be held at MWC Headquarters, #28, Officers' Row, Fort Missoula, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, September 14, 21, and 28. Instructors will be Micah Fields and Rachel Mindell. Participants who attend all three sessions will have the opportunity to create a book filled with a variety of their own place-based writings. Students are invited to bring a photo or momento from a special place to inspire their writing.
