Welcome 2015
Start the new year Wisconsin style: playing in the snow. Whether you're into skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, blazing new trails or sticking to the groomed ones, Wisconsin's Harbor Towns are the place to be. And, even though it may be frozen, Lake Michigan is always something to admire. So grab your snow gear, hop in the car, and start your 2015 year right!
OCONTO
Oconto is waiting for you to participate in the delightful pleasures of its annual Candlelight Walk on Saturday, January 10th, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m at Copper Culture Park!  Hundreds of candles dance with flickering flames to guide you through the trails of this spacious State Park.  Observe the peace of night's blackness.  Walk the trails and along the river as the Copper Culture Indians might have done.  Following this memorable experience, warm yourself with a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie (or two) around a blazing bonfire.  Don't miss this one-of-a-kind winter happening!"

PORT WASHINGTON

Some things quiet down in winter, but not our charm & hospitality! Spend winter how you like it - warm up over a great meal, a glass of wine, or a special coffee drink. Browse the shops in historic storefronts. Or play outside! Throw in a line from shore - fish are still biting! There are nearby trails for cross-country skiing, winter hiking and birding - bring your binoculars! Rent a fat tire bike and ride on the beach - even in the snow.Make sure you bring your camera - winter provides dramatic photo opportunities! Off-season lodging packages available, for that perfectly cozy place to warm up at day's end.

WASHBURN
Get away from it all and enjoy the scenery on over 600 miles of groomed trails and over 1,000 miles of forest roads throughout the county. With frequent opportunities to stop at both scenic vistas and great restaurants, a trip to Washburn is a trip you've got to take!

Join us for Book Across the Bay, the upper Midwest's most unique winter event, open to skiers and snowshoers of all ages and ability levels. The 10-kilometer course, which is groomed for both classic-style and skate skiing, starts in Ashland and ends in Washburn, and follows a route not on land, but over the frozen surface of Lake Superior, the world's largest lake. The event is held at night, and the course is lit by the stars above and up to 1,000 candles in ice luminaries that line the entire route.
