If you Google images of "November in Wisconsin" you will find photos depicting a few things: the last of fall colors, the first snowfall, hunting season and giant Lake Michigan waves crashing over lighthouses and piers.
Now, we all know there's more to November in Wisconsin than meets the eye. It's the best of two worlds - Fall and Winter, Thanksgiving and Christmas (thank you holiday music stations), sweatshirts and snow pants, bike riding and snowmobiling, bonfires, brat fries and holiday parties. Double the seasons, double the festivities, double the fun!
It may be chillier along Lake Michigan, but fall isn't over yet, so visit our Harbor Towns and get the most out of your November!
Sincerely,Wisconsin Harbor Towns Association

PORT WASHINGTON
| |
 Fall Along the Lake
Fall in Port Washington - the perfect time to explore the historic charm of this picturesque lake side city, just north of Milwaukee. Self-guided walking tours are a great way to discover the city, including our fun boutiques & specialty shops located in restored 19th century storefronts. And, Port is on the paved Ozaukee Interurban Trail, so bring your bike, and explore the fall colors. We're very close to several state natural areas as well - great for hiking and birding. Bring your list & binoculars! Or, bring your golf clubs, within a small radius we offer 4 exceptional golf courses. And of course, the fishing in Lake Michigan is still great.
