I think we can officially say we are in summer mode here in Wisconsin! The temperature has surpassed the forties, the sun is shining and there have only been a few rainy days (knock on wood).
From Bayfield to Kenosha, we are pulling out our paddle boards, pumping up our bike tires, dusting off the kayaks, and rolling out the beach towels... or at least the picnic blankets. June is full of festivals and events all along the shoreline, sure to provide fun for the whole family and people of all interests.
For budgets of all shapes and sizes, whether you are vacationing with a family or on your own, spending a few hours with us or a few days, there is something for everyone at each one of our Harbor Towns!
Sincerely,Wisconsin Harbor Towns Association

| MARINETTE | |
Expanding Horizons
Marinette's attractive "business-first" philosophy is making the difference for a growing number of businesses and industries who have decided to locate here. We work hard to clear away roadblocks and create a dynamic environment where businesses can grow and thrive.
Marinette is the proud home of Marinette Marine Corporation, manufacturer of the Freedom-Class Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), as well as such international industries as TYCO Fire Suppression, which focuses its Marinette facilities on fire suppression manufacturing, research and development and training. Privately held companies such as Winsert, Waupaca Foundry, Inc. and KS Kolbenschmidt-US, Inc. have grown to become worldwide manufacturers through the combined interest of owners, employees and economic development resources. Large, midsize and small industries have found Marinette to be a cooperative community, offering both Technical College and University level educational opportunities to its workforce.
