PORT WASHINGTON | |
Port Washington celebrates summer! Fish Day on July 20th is the "World's Largest One-Day Outdoor Fish Fry", with a huge parade and music all day. Our Maritime Heritage Festival, August 23-25, focuses on our maritime history with music, re-enactors, boat tours, even a cardboard boat regatta! And the outdoor play is great every day - not just during festivals. Go fishing: book a charter, launch your boat, or drop a line. Launch a canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard from South Beach. Rent a bike and hop on the Interurban Trail for a spin. Or just relax on a bench and watch the lake. More info at www.visitportwashington.com.
