Greetings!

Well, it's March in Wisconsin's Harbor Towns and that means almost anything goes when it comes to the weather! It's that unpredictable "in between seasons" time of year here in Wisconsin. We're still marveling at the beauty of winter's snow and ice, relishing the time we have left to put our skis, snowshoes and sleds to good use. Yet we can't deny the anticipation of warm spring days when we welcome the captivating change of seasons as grasses turn lush and green, trees blossom, and we all have a bit more "spring" in our step.

So whether you're pondering one last winter getaway or thinking ahead to spring and summer getaway plans, Wisconsin Harbor Towns have you covered! No matter the season, you'll find a myriad of opportunities for unique and memorable vacations and getaways, whether indoors or out.  Each of our 18 Wisconsin Harbor Towns guarantees a warm Wisconsin welcome, and here are just a few highlights of those ready to welcome you this month and all year-round!

Sincerely,
Wisconsin Harbor Towns Association

PORT WASHINGTON

Port Washington, WIThe Sun is Out. Birds are Singing. Road Trip Anyone?

Spring is on its way, and we suggest that you hit the road and head into Port. Here on Lake Michigan, just north of Milwaukee, we are a combination of New England charm and Midwestern friendliness, and we invite you to discover our charms. Take a self-guided walking tour through the historic downtown and along the harbor. You'll pass two lighthouses, and go up hidden staircases that reveal breathtaking views of the city and the harbor. Don't forget your camera, because you will want to bring these views home with you - some can be quite dramatic!
