How Do You Receive Your Nursing CE Certificate?
When a nurse attends one of our courses after January 1, 2014 either in the HTSM or the CCA program and wishes to receive nursing CEs, these are the steps to follow:
1. Contact the ISHA office and tell us you are requesting nursing CEs. The ISHA office will in turn send a copy of the class rostrum with your name on it, copies of all the evaluations and the evaluation summary to Taylor College on your behalf.
2. You then send a copy of your ISHA certificate of attendance along with a check for $15 made out to Taylor College to:

Things are Buzzing in the Chicago area!
| |
Becky Serpe, Elmwood Park, IL
The Chicago practice group is experiencing some growth pains these days. We have had public sessions on February 14th, with 17 people attending and again on April 11th with 12 people attending. This is an absolute joy to see this ministry reach out to people like this, but we are having some challenges with the follow-up...these people are requesting individual sessions and we are running a little short on practitioner availability. So, we are working on trying to grow the number of practitioners in the area - or be sure that we connect with as many as we can.
Gayle Mohr is doing a 103 June 19-20 in Arlington Heights to attract some people. [Spread the word, Chicago practitioners!] But are we missing people in the area? [Not connected with the group but live in the Chicago area? Contact Becky-Becky.Serpe@comcast.net]
For the Global Wellness Day (June 13th) our Chicago group is planning to do 3 consecutive sessions - repeated 3 times - that morning. Practitioners are facilitating: Introduction to the Self-Chakra Connection, Introduction to Meditation, and a piece on "Praying in Color" as created by Sybil MacBeth.
We invite and encourage ISHA groups around the world to join in by having some type of program in your area! See the article from Spirituality & Health magazine announcing the Global Wellness day on June 13th:

ISHA FOUNDATION | |
Linda C. Sharp, President
Just a week or so ago I had the privilege to be in Cleveland Ohio at a Nurse Practitioners Conference. As participants came by the booth, it was a honor to talk about the ISHA program and the Foundation. It was an awesome opportunity. From that day we gained a new coordinator and about fifty people interested in the program--already planning a class! As we gave demonstrations of this wonderful work there was a envelope on the table for the Foundation--it was just on the table. Yes, we did say "donations appreciated". Not until we were packing up did I realize there was over $40 dollars in the Foundation envelope. That may not sound like much, BUT, just think how easy it can be to help the Foundation. Every penny helps...
Please know every thing you are doing as a coordinator is soooo honored. You are the best...
Blessings,

Website Update: | | Please Be Patient With Our Growth!
Due to the changes with Google, it was necessary to switch to the new website before the glitches were corrected and smoothed out.
If looking for a class, it is best to use the small box to the right on the schedule page. Type in the number (ex. 103) of the class and a list of those classes will pop up.
There is daily work on the website to bring it up to the level we wish to have!
Thank you! |
