LEBANON (BEIRUT)- An explosion has been reported in the western part of Lebanon's capital, Beirut, on 12 June. The incident reportedly occurred near the Blom bank in the vicinity of the Verdun area and was reportedly caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) placed under a stationery vehicle. The area has been cordoned off and emergency services are at the scene. No casualties have been reported thus far.

Clients in Beirut should avoid the affected area until the situation stabilizes and more information comes to light.
