CZECH REPUBLIC
- A terrorism warning has resulted in the evacuation of train stations and public buildings in a number of areas of the Czech Republic on 10 May. The warning was issued after an anonymous person notified the authorities that ten explosive devices had been placed at the Praha hlavni nadrazi (Prague main railway station) in the capital, Prague, and in undisclosed locations in Plzen and Pardubice. In addition to evacuations in these locations, town halls in Mlada Boleslav and Jicin were also evacuated. The authorities have deployed to a number of sites to verify the claims. Media reports indicate that some evacuated areas have been re-opened to the public. Disruptions to rail traffic are anticipated in Prague and across the country in light of the bomb threat.

Clients in the Czech Republic should monitor related developments closely and abide by the directives of the authorities. Persons intending to travel by rail should adjust itineraries to cater for potential delays and check the status of services with the relevant authority prior to departure.
