JAPAN(KUMAMOTO) - Incident description: A 7.0 magnitude earthquake has strike at least 1km west of Kumamoto, the capital city of Japan's Kumamoto prefecture, on 15 April. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of approximately 40km. A tsunami warning has been issued. Further aftershocks and tremors could exacerbate ongoing rescue and recovery operations in the affected region and lead to further travel and utility disruptions. Further aftershocks cannot be discounted at this time. Persons in the affected area of Kumamoto prefecture are advised to take the necessary precautions, including following the directives of the local authorities. Additional earthquakes and tremors may occur in the region and should be anticipated. Clients are further advised to monitor local media and emergency broadcast channels for updates and advisories from the local authorities
