UNITED STATES (WASHINGTON DC) - A shooting incident has been reported at the US Capitol Visitor Center in Washington DC on 28 March. Police have instructed workers in the area to 'shelter in place'. Major buildings in the area, including Congress and the White House, have reportedly been placed on 'lock down'. Increased security measures should be anticipated in the affected and surrounding areas in the coming hours. Additional police patrols, road closures and checkpoints are likely.
 
Clients in Washington DC should avoid the affected area until the situation is resolved or the police give the all clear.
