RUSSIA
 - Rostov-on-Don Airport, located east of Russia's southern eponymous city, has been closed, after a plane crashed-landed on the runway, on 19 March. According to airport officials, flydubai Boeing 738 crash-landed on the runway due to poor visibility and subsequently caught ablaze. At least 55 passengers and crew members said to have been on-board the plane were killed. Emergency personnel are currently undertaking rescue and clean-up operations; such operations are expected to continue in the coming hours.

Persons scheduled to transit Rostov-on-Don Airport are advised to contact their airline or travel provider to inquire about the status of their flight(s).
