France has declared a state of emergency which includes mobilization of security forces and closing its borders.

FRANCE (PARIS) - UPDATE- French President Francois Hollande said Saturday that ISIS is responsible for Friday's attacks in Paris. He called the attacks "an act of war." ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks. In an online statement, the terror group said eight ISIS militants wearing explosive belts and armed with machine guns attacked precisely selected targets in the French capital.

Here is what we know so far about the attacks:

-Coordinated attacks took place in six locations in Paris, including a theater, the Stade de France, and at least two restaurants.

-The Paris Police Prefecture said the death toll is at least 128. The spokesman said 180 people had been injured, 99 of whom were in critical condition.

-Americans are among the injured, according to a statement from U.S. State Department Deputy Spokesperson Mark Toner: "The United States Embassy in Paris is working round the clock to assist American citizens affected by this tragedy. The U.S. government is working closely with French authorities to identify American victims. We are aware there are Americans among the injured, and are offering them the full range of consular assistance."

-Eight terrorists died, seven of them in suicide bombings. Police are searching for possible attackers who may have escaped.

-One of the attackers has been identified by fingerprints as a French national. He was known to police.

-A source close to the investigation stated that officials found passports on two of the attackers. One Syrian passport, One Egyptian passport. There is strong assumption that these passports are fake.
