Global Reach   |   Now Boarding Blog   |   Services   |   ATG FRANCE (PARIS) - UPDATE - French authorities have confirmed that all suspected assailants involved in a spate of attacks in the capital, Paris, have been killed. Seven of the assailants reportedly died as a result of detonating their suicide vests, while an eighth individual was gunned down by security forces. There have been no immediate claims of responsibility for the armed attacks which have left at least 120 people dead in Paris' 10 and 11 arrondissements and near the Stade de France in the Saint Denis area of the city. Nonetheless, despite confirmation of the deaths of all the suspected assailants, security operations are ongoing across large parts of Paris and will likely continue for the short-term. Moreover, movement restrictive measures, including a countrywide state of emergency and a mandatory curfew in Paris, continue to be imposed at this time. Most forms of public transportation services, in addition to government-aligned institutions, will also remain suspend for at least the next 24 hours. Clients in France are advised to exercise heightened security awareness at this times, comply with all directives issued by the local authorities and ensure that itineraries remain flexible to accommodate for possible travel disruptions. Travel in and around crowded public venues should be restricted at this time. Persons in Paris are advised to continue to restrict movements to secure locations amid ongoing security operations in the city. All suspicious persons, packages and/or vehicles should be reported to the local authorities. Following the multiple Paris attacks, a state of emergency has been declared in France.   While commercial air services are not anticipated to be suspended, disruptions to flight schedules remains possible at this time. Air France declares that all flights will go on as usual. American Airlines declares that flights to and from Paris may suffer delays.  Eurostar will function as scheduled.
