FRANCE (PARIS) - (Update) French president, Francois Hollande, has declared a countrywide state of emergency and closed all of France's borders. The declaration was made following several terrorist incidents which have resulted in at least 40 fatalities in the capital, Paris. The French military has been deployed to the capital in order to prevent any further incidents. The hostage situation at the Le Bataclan is ongoing with an estimated 100 people being held hostage. A suicide bomb attack has been attributed to the explosion at the Stade de France stadium contrary to earlier reports of a grenade attack. Media reports have indicated an additional shooting incident in Les Halles, details are currently unclear. Emergency personnel and police officers have been deployed to all the affected areas. Nearby public areas including restaurants and bars have been evacuated. Unconfirmed reports indicate that a mandatory curfew has been imposed in Paris. At least four confirmed incidents have taken place in the capital, including the first incident, where an unknown gunmen allegedly opened fire on patrons at a dining restaurant, Le Petit Cambodge resulting in casualties. The gunman managed to flee the scene. With assailants still unaccounted for, the possibility of further attacks in Paris cannot be discounted at this time.

Clients in Paris are advised to restrict movements at this time and to comply with the directives of the local authorities. All suspicious persons, packages and/or vehicles should be reported to the local authorities.
