FRANCE (PARIS) - At least 18 people have been killed and many more wounded following several incidents in central Paris on 13 November. An unknown gunmen allegedly opened fire on patrons at a dining restaurant, Le Petit Cambodge resulting in casualties; the gunman is still at large. A second shooting has been reported at a concert venue, Le Bataclan where the gunman is reported to be holding at least 60 people hostage. An additional incident has also been reported at the Stade de France stadium where grenades were reportedly thrown during a football match. Emergency personnel and police officers have been deployed to all the affected areas. Nearby public areas including restaurants and bars have been evacuated.
 
Clients in Paris are advised to avoid the affected areas amid the potential for further violence. Although it remains unlikely that the incidents are linked to any form of terrorism, travellers in Paris are nonetheless advised to exercise heightened security awareness and to report all suspicious persons, packages and/or vehicles to the local authorities.
