IRELAND - All Northern Ireland Railways (NI Railways) services between Belfast, capital of Northern Island, and Dublin, capital of Ireland, have been temporarily suspended following the discovery of an unknown device on the railway track in Lurgan (Northern Ireland) on 18 October. Security forces are currently investigating the scene and are undertaking searches along the affected line. Rails services between Lisburn, Moira, Lurgan and Portadown have reportedly been replaced with a bus service to mitigate travel disruptions. It is not yet clear when normal rail operations will resume.

Persons in the United Kingdom or Ireland, who intend to conduct rail travel between Belfast and Dublin, are advised to contact their travel provider(s) or NI Railways (http://goo.gl/1QeYf) for updates on the status of services.
