Hachette Open House:

Hachette NYC Offices
10:00am - 4:00pm, followed by a tour, reception and dinner for those who can stay
We have been given a rare opportunity to spend a day in the Hachette NYC offices to talk business with their executives, discuss books with their editors, and socialize with their authors.
The day will begin with an Open Forum with sales & fulfillment, a chance to ask questions and discuss backroom issues. We will have a movable feast lunch with editors and hear about the upcoming books from the Fall 2014/Winter 2015 seasons and Spring/Summer 2015 lists.
Five Hachette authors will participate in an author panel in the afternoon, followed by a tour of the offices and a meet-and-greet reception with HBG authors and staff.
For those who can stay for the evening, Hachette will host a fabulous author dinner.
** Children's Booksellers: LBYR will have a table for children's buyers.

How to use the Holiday Catalog:
- Insert in local newspapers
- Create a challenge for staff. Each chooses a title to support and the winning bookseller gets a prize at the end of the season
- Insert a coupon (can be imprinted when you order your catalog) to increase sales and track sales
- Place around town in other stores, in professional offices, the library, and with organizations you support with programming and donations
- Set up a special display table of catalog titles
- Bag insert
