Publishers Offers Program Goes National

In November, NAIBA created the Publishers Offers Program, a weekly summary of the current specials offered by publishers.

The simplicity and the value of the program was quickly recognized and NAIBA offered to share this information with booksellers across the country.  Each of the regional booksellers associations will disseminate the list compiled by NAIBA with their member bookstores.

The program is simple: every Friday publishers enter any new promotions and specials into a Google Doc and that information is emailed to book buyers in an excel spreadsheet every Monday morning. Booksellers don't need to search through dozens of emails to find special offers, or fear they didn't open a publisher's email and missed out.

Bookseller: If you haven't told NAIBA you want that list, email us now.

Publishers: If you want to receive the weekly reminder to post your promotions, email us now.

Financial Emergencies Needn't Be Tragic

BINC

Household finances are often a balancing act even in the best of times. When an unexpected event causes a loss of household income, a family can be knocked into a downward spiral that seems to have no end. At the Binc Foundation we hear of these circumstances on a regular basis. Click here to read the stories of several of the families Binc has helped this year.
